Your wedding day will be filled with a plethora of emotions - excitement, nerves, happiness, and more. At Scott Smith Photography, I understand the significance of these moments, and my goal is to make you feel at ease throughout the day. With my unobtrusive and relaxed approach, I will skilfully capture every natural moment, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the joy of your celebrations.
For the vast majority of your wedding day, I photograph without interfering or interrupting you & your guests. I work as an unobtrusive observer of the day, I mingle amongst your guests and work hard to record the moments of your day as they happen naturally.
I am easy-going and relaxed, working around your schedule, with no pressure and no shouting (well maybe a little bit during group shots!). If you have a look around the site you can get a feel for my photographic style.
I use a mixture of reportage, portraiture and traditional group shots, which allows me to capture your day in the best way possible: from the wedding preparations in the morning until at least the first dance. I feel it’s important to be with you throughout the day, as so much work goes into a wedding and I want to capture every important moment.
I LOVE photographing weddings, watching the day unfolding right before my eyes (and lens!!). I well up during the speeches (have cried at one or two!), I adjust dresses, try to calm the Groom down (always a bag of nerves!), entertain the kids, help make up the favours, make your Gran smile and most definitely encourage outrageous behaviour from all of your fantastic family members!
